BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS
Big Brothers Big Sisters is an organization that matches kids with adults from their community in a kind of mentoring relationship. Kids with Big Brothers or Big Sisters are less likely to start using drugs or alcohol or to initiate violence, and do better in school and in relationships with their friends and family. Kids in the BBBS program are ages 6-14 from single-parent families and a lot of the time donŐt have much in the way of positive adult role models. Several Watershedders are already involved with BBBS, but this would be a great opportunity for more young adults to get involved.

HD YOUTH CENTER AND RESTAURANT
Henry Davidson started the youth center several years ago. They serve breakfast to the homeless and underprivileged every morning M-F staffed with volunteers (some of whom have been a few of you!) and then open up in the afternoons for students to hang out after school. If you would like to make a Kingdom difference in the lives of late elementary through early high school aged kids, then help out on the Adventureland trip and consider helping out at the HD Youth Center on a regular basis.
